What we evaluate

Common Reasons for Testing

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Evaluation Process

  1. Intake. A conversation about your history and concerns, and a plan for setting and schedule.

  2. Testing. One to three sessions by video, in an office or at home.

  3. Report. A comprehensive written report with diagnosis and specific recommendations for home, school or work.

  4. Feedback. We review the results with you and with your Continuum clinician.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the evaluation take?

Testing usually takes one to three sessions. Your written report and feedback session follow within two weeks.

Can testing really be done at home or by video?

Yes. Tests are administered by a licensed psychologist using digital tools, so results are just as reliable in your living room as in an office.

What does it cost, and is it covered by insurance?

We are out-of-network. We quote the fee before scheduling and provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement.

Will my child's school accept the report?

Yes. Reports are written to support 504 plans, IEPs and standardized testing accommodations. Tell us about any specific requirements at the start.

At what age can a child be tested?

We evaluate patients from age 4.
