EducationDr. Padda attended Swarthmore College, where he graduated with Sigma Xi Honors. He received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine with Cum Laude Honors. He completed psychiatry residency training at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine and fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison (CL) Psychiatry at New York University Grossman School of Medicine.
After completing his fellowship training, Dr. Padda served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine and now maintains a faculty position at the University of Washington Medical Center. He remains closely involved in educating the next generation of psychiatrists at various levels of training, having earned a teaching award for his efforts.
